Technical Parameters

Eco-way SF Runway deicer

Sodium Formate is solid, irregular-shaped granule, which means it stays put. No need to worry about it being blown away or displaced due to regular aircraft or traffic movement. Sodium Formate is easy to apply via mechanical spreader. Sodium Formate is more environmentally-friendly than Sodium Acetate [NaAc] due to lower BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) during normal degradation. Sodium Formate solid deicer can be used as a stand-alone application or pre-wetted with Potassium Acetate liquid deicer.

Advantage:

1. Melts ice and snow faster than urea and sodium acetate

2. 2.Effective at lower temperatures (00 F)

3. 3. Lower use rates compared

4. Does not contain nitrites or triazoles

5.Helps airports meet ecological requirements

6.Biodegradable with lower COD and BOD levels

7.Irregularly shaped granules are designed to eliminate bounce and roll so that product stays put.
